So apparently when the first governer in 1861 was asked what Colorado’s motto would be, he paused for a moment, then replied, Nil sine Numine.  Translate it what you will but in the context of those times and circumstances, one would be inclined to think the daring pioneers in those days sensed and revered the awesome presence of a Deity in the wild and rugged surroundings.

As we took in inspiring views, from the majestical mountains to the humble  insect resting and feeding on a primrose, we are also taken by how Providence led us to this place and all that we have received and enjoyed.  Nothing without God.
