square mile and over

Remember what Bilbo used to say: It’s a dangerous business, Frodo, going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you don’t keep your feet…

there’s no knowing where you might be swept off to.

Our humble beginnings can feel a lot like the Shire.  A quiet, comfortable, peaceful pace of life, and liliputian in its scope and boundaries.  Then suddenly, we are on  the road and being swept to places we haven’t ever imagined to visit.  All travels we have been able to take, we accept as a gift.  We embrace as adventure.  We cherish as memories.

[Your mission, Jem - should you wish to accept it - is to post the last "few" slides of your recent trips before November rolls in...

inner peace

[Hey Dad, Recently read this ad, "Climb in for an amazing experience: available heated and cooled leather-trimmed seats and dual-zone electronic temperature control. Plus, available --- 3rd-row seating that flattens into the floor with the push of a button. Then consider this: --- is the only full size SUV to receive the highest government frontal crash test safety rating for four years in a row. How's that for inner peace?"

I think not.  The last few weeks surely have been stressful but I am glad you give greater peace than a flashy SUV or anything in this world could ever provide.
