Recharging

My electrical devices are so needy. The more apps and functions they boast of, the more frequent they need to be juiced up.

And so it is with our fragile “dirt-origin and dirt-destined” bodies. I am rethinking those two evenings in my work schedule. My body was in a pitiful mess by the afternoon class the next day and I made a bee-line for the bed once I got back home.

Someone is also getting a massage today to untangle all those knotty points in the neck and back; another arsenal in our fight against stress and anxiety.

Counting the days for a change in routine, scenery and intensity.

Sands of Life

image

Meanwhile the unreturning sands of Life dribbled through the unheeded isthmus of the Present Moment; and the fixed cone of the Past expanded; and the dimple deepened in the diminished and hurrying Future.

[Some positive things have happened this week. Not exactly how I have pictured positivity but in the sense that we have been running for the past two years like headless chooks, I think we've finally put our hands up in the air, admitting we've lost the map and we've ran out of fuel.

Two years back in Australia and while we might seem defeated right now; we have actually had an amazing adventure. All things considered, we can still count our blessings in the Present Moment.

But we must now look to the Future, we are starting to knock on doors.
